Lin Yu-Chen
Chairman
Ms. Lin Yu Chen, aged 51, hails from Taiwan. She graduated with a degree in Accounting from Red Bridge College in London, UK, in 1991. Currently, she serves as the Chairman of the company. Following her education, she began her career with Hsichchou Plastic Enterprise Company Ltd. and Jir Shying Industry Company Ltd. in Feng Yuan City, Taiwan. These companies, managed under a single administration, specialized in manufacturing and exporting non-electrical hot pots, electrical appliances, plastic products, and toys. During her career, she managed production activities for five years and later transitioned to international sales and marketing of hot pots, toys, fan motors, and fan capacitors for seven years. Through these roles, she has gained extensive and versatile knowledge and skills. Ms. Lin is known for her energetic, hardworking, and dynamic business personality, coupled with an excellent and amiable disposition. She has traveled extensively for business purposes, both domestically and internationally, and has demonstrated her managerial capabilities across various fields. As the Sponsor Director and Chairman of the Board of Golden Son Ltd., she oversees the production and international marketing of the company. Additionally, she holds the position of Managing Director at GSL Export Limited and Golden Infinity Limited.

Belal Ahmed
Managing Director
Mr. Belal Ahmed comes from a distinguished Muslim family in Sylhet. His father, the late M.A. Bari, was a notable businessman and social leader. At 62 years old, Mr. Ahmed holds a B.Com.degree from City College, Chittagong. He excels in planning, researching, and organizing within the plastic industry and is a pioneer in establishing plastic-based industries in the country. He founded the plastic fan manufacturing company, ABY (Pvt) Ltd., and sponsored Pan Mark Accessories (Pvt) Ltd. and Ron Son Ltd. Mr. Ahmed is a Sponsor Director of Janata Insurance Company Ltd. and currently serves as the Managing Director of the Board of Golden Son Limited. He is also a dedicated social worker involved with several social organizations, playing a crucial role in the industrial development of the country. Mr. Ahmed has traveled extensively for business purposes and is the Chairman of GSL Export Limited and Golden Infinity Limited.

Md. Al Amin Talukder

Mr. Md. Al Amin Talukder joined the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) in 1995 as a Senior Officer. He obtained his graduation and post-graduation degrees in Law from Rajshahi University. He has been working in different divisions and departments, including Law, Documentation, Project Implementation, Loan Recovery and Monitoring, Board Secretariat, Human Resource Management, and Merchant Banking in ICB and its subsidiary company, in various capacities for the last 28 years. He also served as a Branch Manager and is currently serving as the Additional Chief Executive Officer of ICB Capital Management Limited (ICML). He has participated in different trainings, seminars, and symposiums on money markets, capital markets, and other related fields. Currently, he is working as the General Manager of the EEF wing of ICB.

Md. Abdur Rouf
Independent Director
Mr. Md. Abdur Rouf started his career at the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB). Most recently, he was the Managing Director of Karmasangstha Bank. He has about 30 years of experience in banking as well as the capital market. During his long service career, he worked as the Deputy Managing Director of Sonali Bank Ltd. Additionally, he worked in different departments of ICB. He was also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ICB Securities Trading Company Ltd., a subsidiary of ICB. He served as the Secretary General of the Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association (BMBA). He has attended several capital market and banking-related trainings both at home and abroad. He is associated with various social welfare activities and is a lifetime member of the Institute of Banking Bangladesh. He completed his Master’s Degree in Management from the University of Dhaka. He joined the company as an Independent Director in November 2020.

Md. Baitul Amin Bhuiyan
Independent Director
Md. Baitul Amin Bhuiyan is an Independent Director of Golden Son Limited. Mr. Bhuiyan obtained a Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) (Hons.) in Sociology from Dhaka University and a Master of Social Science (MSS) in Sociology from Dhaka University. He is a former Additional Secretary to the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. He has worked in different ministries of the Bangladesh Government throughout his long career. He is also an Independent Director of Janata Insurance Company Limited. At present, he is serving as an Advisor to Summit Corporation Limited. Mr. Bhuiyan has attended various training courses, seminars, and conferences both at home and abroad. He joined the company as an Independent Director in November 2020.
